You Can Be Successful Without Burning Out.

With The Right Partner

SPM was built by someone who's been in your shoes. Someone who understands the pressure, the isolation, and the mental load of running a practice alone.

For 12 Years, I've Watched The Same Pattern

Hey, I'm Serena!

For 12 years, I've worked with allied health practitioners building their practices, and the pattern is always the same.

They're overwhelmed, burnt out, income capped.

They tell me they can't afford support because they think it's a money problem. But it's not. It's a time problem.

They're stuck managing operations instead of seeing clients or running the business, but every hour spent on operations is an hour they can't bill and time they can't get back.

Their income is capped because their time is consumed.

My Mentor Made All The Difference

I've been in this industry my whole career. I started in a GP clinic when I was 16 and spent 7 years learning medical practice management before taking SPM out on it's own.

Early on, someone saw potential in me, took me under his wing, and gave me opportunities I never would have gotten otherwise. That mentorship changed everything.

Then I moved to a psychology practice and within 18 months, I'd built that practice from 2 solo psychologists to 9 with a waitlist for 6 months minimum.

But then I hit a ceiling. I could see exactly what the practice needed to scale further, but I couldn't implement it from my role as practice manager. I'd built out the operations as far as I could.

That's when I realised—this is the ceiling practice owners hit when they're the ones coordinating everything.

They're trying to do it alone, carrying the isolation of solo practice ownership with no one to support them and carry the weight of the business.

Running a Practice Shouldn't Mean Losing Your Life

In October 2020, I launched Structured PM.

People started reaching out naturally, all hitting the same ceiling, overwhelmed and isolated, stuck coordinating everything while trying to deliver excellent client care.

Five years later, SPM has supported over 200 practices across Australia. I'm not just advising from the sidelines, I'm also an equity partner in a successful online psychology clinic today. My boots are and always will be, on the ground.

I built SPM around the belief that work should fuel life, not consume it—for my clients and for my team. If I'm going to ask practice owners to reclaim their time, I have to embody that in how I run my own business.

We're not just solving the operations problem. We're solving the isolation too.

I'm building community so practitioners can connect with each other, creating belonging for people who've been doing this alone, and giving back the support that changed everything for me.

When you have support, everything changes. You get your time back, and you can scale your practice or finally have the life you built the business to create in the first place.

That's the difference I'm here to make with Structured Practice Management.

What We Believe

  • We Work To Live

We believe work should fuel life, not consume it. We create freedom through flexibility—not as a perk, but as a core operating principle. We measure success by results and quality of life, not hours or presence.

  • We're In This Together

Building a business is lonely. No one should do it alone. We check in when things are hard, celebrate wins together, and show up for each other. We give back in ways that matter, creating spaces where people feel genuinely supported.

  • We Do What We Say

Trust is earned through action, not promises. We show up consistently, follow through on commitments, and communicate honestly—even when it's uncomfortable. We protect the trust given to us by maintaining confidentiality, security, and reliability in everything we do.
